The new owner needs to request the change of ownership. This can be done by sending an email to the Westphalia Society.
To process the request, please provide:
Westphalia Transfer of Ownership form available from the ACE office or downloadable from the ACE website. Downloadable Forms
A copy of the horse’s passport (page 1 and the page showing the previous owner).
Proof of purchase (e.g. sales contract or signed ownership transfer document).
The new owner’s name, address, and email.
The new owner will receive an invoice (currently €25). Once paid, a sticker for the horse’s passport will be mailed out, and the ownership details will be updated in the database.
A membership is not required to register a change of ownership.
